Simon Garber has served as president of Yellow Cab SLSJET Management Corp. in Long Island City, New York, for the last 12 years. In this role, he oversees the operation of over 250 yellow cab medallions and leads a team of more than 50 mechanics, accountants, and dispatchers. A member of the Committee for Taxi Safety, Simon Garber has introduced company-wide quality control measures to ensure staff productivity and well-being while focusing on providing customers with the highest level of professionalism and service. He brings to the company 20 years of experience in managing business finances and raising company profits at his previous position at Manhattan Taxi Maintenance.
Outside of work, Symon Garber supports The Center for Jewish Life and the Bris Avrohom Center, a non-profit organization that supports Russian-Jewish immigrants in the New York area through education and synagogue services. In his free time, he enjoys attending Brooklyn Nets basketball games and playing polo with his sons. Symon Garber founded the International Polo Club of Colts Neck in 2009 to expand interest in the sport within the United States.
